Summer 2026 People Experience Internship

Overview

If you’re a college student, Pfizer Futures is your chance to gain real-world, impactful work experience for 10-12 weeks during the summer. This U.S. program offers undergraduate students the opportunity to grow and develop into the next Pfizer Colleague.  

With opportunities across the Enterprise, Pfizer Futures interns will support their division’s goals and initiatives while building relationships and learning about Pfizer.  

The 2026 Pfizer Futures application portal will be open from October 1st to October 31st, 2025.  

Applications and placements for this program are reviewed on a rolling basis. Interview and hiring timelines differ by division.  

Responsibilities

Our People Experience team is comprised of dedicated, solution-oriented and agile colleagues who think big challenge the status quo to create room for meaningful work. Your diverse perspectives and experiences will help to shape our workforce and make Pfizer an inclusive and amazing workplace for all. People Experience projects responsibilities may include (but are not limited to): 

• Support the Compensation and Benefits teams by learning systems, policies, procedures, assisting with research, and recommend process improvements based on feedback from internal and external stakeholders 

• Support Global Talent Solutions teams with recruitment and marketing related activities 

• Partner with the Workplace Solutions team to enhance the workplace experience at Pfizer by focusing on executing real estate capital projects and delivering efficient operations and services globally 

• Provide real-time support for local Colleague Wellness teams to evaluate organizational mental health needs and develop programs to support Colleague wellbeing 

• Partner with People Experience (PX) Leads across divisions to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of Human Resources 

• Work with the Internal Communications and Colleague Engagement team to execute large Enterprise events, impact engagement at a divisional level and best connect Pfizer colleagues through our multi-channel platforms. 

• Partner with Pfizer’s DEI teams to promote Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion across Enterprise

• Interviews for this position will begin in the Winter 

Minimum Qualifications

• Be immediately authorized to work in the U.S. This Program cannot support applicants who require employer sponsored visas now or in the future

• Be an undergraduate student enrolled in a full-time university program (an accredited college / university degree program at the time of award)  

• Be at least 18 years of age prior to the scheduled start date 

• Have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA as of the most recently completed semester 

• Be able to commute to a Pfizer location 4+ days a week . Please note- some lab/manufacturing roles may require additional on-site days 

Preferred Qualifications

• Studying applicable degree (Human Resources Management/Organizational Psychology, Human Capital, Psychology, Communications, General Business) 

• Sophomore or Junior students preferred

The pay rate range provided is a reasonable estimate of the anticipated compensation range for this job at the time of posting. The actual pay rate will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, educational degree obtained, location and/or being pursued and other job-related factors permitted by law.

In addition, this role will be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements.

Pay Rate Range: $26/hr to $29/hr
