Executive + Content Assistant Intern Spring 2026

About the Role:
Jomboy Media is looking for an NYC-based intern to assist the Executive Assistant to our CEO. This is a hybrid internship (3 days in-office/2 days WFH) for someone whose equal parts organized and creative — you’ll support day-to-day executive logistics while also getting hands-on experience with content creation and social media planning for one of our company’s leading voices.

Requirements

  • You can do anything. You've found creative ways to solve problems and aren't afraid of a challenge.
  • You are here to help get things done. You understand that in a start-up environment, everyone wears multiple hats.
  • You are organized, a good communicator and a team player.
  • You are flexible, personable, and have the willingness to go the extra mile.

Responsibilities

Executive & Office Support

  • Assist with administrative tasks like printing, mailing, organizing supplies, and running errands
  • Assist with office duties like setting up AV equipment, stocking supplies, or tidying the kitchen
  • Coordinate drop-offs, pickups, or simple purchasing errands (like getting signed merch or giveaway items)
  • Stay up to date on trends, viral formats, and relevant media opportunities

Social Media & Content

  • Help manage and schedule Courtney’s social media posts on Instagram and LinkedIn
  • Assist in editing and preparing content for social media - 2x daily on Instagram, 1x daily on LinkedIn (7 days a week)
  • Organize and maintain a running log of posted and scheduled content
  • Help prepare and join bulk content recording days
  • Pitch new ideas to enhance personal brand storytelling and executive voice across platforms
  • Strong command of Canva is essential for this role
  • Note: Use of personal cellphone is required

We’re looking for someone with working proficiency in Adobe applications like Premiere and Photoshop — you should feel confident editing short-form content and creating simple graphics. A strong understanding of social media analytics (especially on Instagram and LinkedIn) is highly encouraged. You will need to submit content you’ve created yourself for consideration.

*Our internship program is currently unpaid. Candidates must receive school credit.
