Robotics Engineering Intern (Summer 2026)

Bucket Robotics is a Y Combinator-backed robotics startup building cutting-edge robotics and computer vision systems. We are hiring Robotics Engineering Interns for Summer 2026 for a hands-on experience working alongside our core team. As a Robotics Engineering Intern, you will contribute to real-world robotics projects spanning perception, motion planning, control, hardware integration, and manipulation. You'll work with state-of-the-art sensors, modern robotics frameworks, and machine learning systems that power autonomous operation in real environments. The internship offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced startup environment, directly collaborating with founders on technical decisions that shape the product. You'll gain experience deploying robotic systems in the real world and contributing to a product that customers depend on. Required qualifications: pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; strong fundamentals in robotics, computer vision, or controls; experience with ROS, Python, or C++; demonstrated hands-on project experience; passion for robotics and physical AI.
