Charge Robotics is a Series A robotics startup building robots that build solar farms. We are hiring Engineering Interns for Summer 2026 to help accelerate the deployment of utility-scale solar through robotic automation. Charge's robots install solar panels on construction sites at a fraction of the time and cost of human labor, enabling faster decarbonization. As an Engineering Intern, you'll work directly with our engineering team on real robotics projects spanning mechanical design, electrical systems, software for autonomous operation, computer vision, or field deployment. You'll gain hands-on experience with industrial robotics, real-world deployment challenges, and the unique problems of building physical machines that operate in unstructured outdoor environments. Charge is backed by leading venture capital investors and is rapidly scaling deployments. Required qualifications: pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science, or a related field; strong fundamentals in your area; demonstrated hands-on experience through projects, labs, or prior internships; passion for robotics, automation, and clean energy.
