Software Engineering Intern, Android (Summer 2026)

Robinhood is hiring Software Engineering Interns for Android for Summer 2026. Robinhood is on a mission to democratize finance for all, building products that put financial information and tools in the hands of millions. As an Android Software Engineering Intern, you'll work alongside experienced mobile engineers building features that touch our 23+ million customers, contributing to areas like the core trading experience, account management, crypto, retirement accounts, or new financial products. You'll gain exposure to modern Android development practices including Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, modular architecture, dependency injection, and rigorous testing frameworks. The internship includes structured mentorship, weekly speaker series with executives, hackathons, and intern-only events. Required: currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, graduating December 2026 or later; experience with Java or Kotlin and Android development frameworks; understanding of object-oriented programming and data structures; passion for mobile products and consumer finance.
