Full Stack Engineer, Intern Summer 2026

SafetyKit replaces human content moderators with language models for platforms including Character.ai, Substack, and Upwork. The founding team includes ex-Stripe and Airbnb engineers operating from our San Francisco office. We are hiring engineering interns who are passionate about AI and shipping code rapidly. The role focuses on deploying language model solutions for content moderation at enterprise scale. Past interns have developed autonomous AI agents to investigate user flows, built product classifiers, and identified IP violations on major marketplaces. The company values fast execution, deep problem-solving obsession, and autonomous operators who maintain high standards. Ideal candidates love language models, code at high velocity, embrace codegen tools, demonstrate unusual learning speed, and maintain owner-level accountability. Required skills include AWS, TypeScript, and SQL. Compensation: $12.5K-$16.5K monthly. The company will sponsor visa applicants.
