The New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) is offering a 10-week paid Summer 2026 internship in Public Affairs beginning June 8, 2026 in New York, NY. NYCEDC is a mission-driven, nonprofit organization that creates shared prosperity across New York City's five boroughs by strengthening neighborhoods and growing good jobs. As a Public Affairs intern, you will work with the Communications and Government Relations team on press materials, media outreach, communications strategy, and stakeholder engagement. Responsibilities include drafting press releases, preparing briefing materials for executives, monitoring media coverage, supporting events, and contributing to social media strategy. The internship provides exposure to public sector communications, economic development initiatives, and urban policy issues affecting one of the world's largest cities.
