The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) is hiring a Hate Prevention Intern for Fall 2026. Interns will support SPLC's mission of fighting hate, teaching tolerance, and seeking justice by working alongside experts in the Intelligence Project and related programs that research, expose, and counter extremist groups in the United States. Responsibilities may include researching and tracking hate groups and extremist movements, supporting communications and outreach efforts, assisting in policy and advocacy work, and contributing to publications and reports that inform the public and policymakers about the landscape of hate and extremism. Interns are expected to begin on August 3rd, 2026 and end on December 4th, 2026. Position is remote. Candidates should demonstrate strong research, writing, and analytical skills, and a commitment to civil rights and social justice. Paid internship.
