Software Engineering Intern (Mission Systems Software) - Summer & Fall 2026

Hermeus is seeking talented students with software engineering experience to join the Ground & Communications Systems Software Team for Summer and/or Fall 2026. The internship lasts around 16 weeks (September - December) for Fall, or up to 28 weeks combined (May - December). Hermeus is a Mach 5 aviation company developing hypersonic aircraft, and this team builds critical software systems that support mission operations, ground control, and communications for unmanned high-speed aircraft. Interns will work on real-world engineering problems alongside experienced engineers, contributing to mission-critical software in C++, Python, and modern web technologies. Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field; have strong programming skills; and demonstrate interest in aerospace, defense, or high-stakes systems. U.S. person status required (ITAR/EAR). Location: Atlanta, GA, onsite.
