Fundamental Research Analyst Intern (New York) - Summer 2027

The D. E. Shaw Group is recruiting talented individuals for a 10-week fundamental research internship running June through August 2027. Interns will research, analyze, and perform due diligence on specific companies and industry sectors, and stay current on market trends and data sources. The firm seeks candidates with strong analytical abilities and demonstrated interest in financial markets, whether through clubs, competitions, or prior experience. No finance background is required; applicants in any undergraduate or graduate program may apply. Compensation includes: $25,000 monthly base salary, $10,000 sign-on bonus, relocation coverage, housing options ($10,000 allowance or furnished accommodations), $3,300 self-study materials stipend, and $4,000 technology equipment stipend.
