As a Backend Software Engineering Intern at Verkada, you'll build scalable distributed systems capable of handling high traffic from hundreds of thousands of devices. You'll work with technologies including Redis, DynamoDB, Postgres, Kafka, and SQS, and deploy services via Terraform and Kubernetes. Responsibilities include developing large-scale remote configuration systems, designing microservice architectures, and designing and developing features incorporating cutting-edge computer vision. Qualifications: pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, graduating by June 2027. Required experience includes Python or Golang, distributed systems, operating systems knowledge, and AWS familiarity. Prior internship experience launching products is needed.
