ABC News Studios Production Intern, Summer/Fall 2026

ABC News Studios (a Walt Disney Company business) is hiring a Production Intern for Summer/Fall 2026 in New York, NY. The internship runs June 2026 to December 2026, full-time. ABC News Studios produces premium long-form documentary, news, and unscripted programming for Hulu, Disney+, Star, and ABC's linear platforms. The intern will support development and production teams on active projects, including research, transcription, archival footage logging, story memo drafting, organizing pitch and screening materials, and helping coordinate logistics for shoots, interviews, and edits. Required qualifications: currently enrolled in an accredited college or university (or graduated within six months prior to start); pursuing a degree in Journalism, Film, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field; strong writing and research skills; familiarity with documentary and news formats; ability to handle confidential information and tight deadlines; available to work full-time for the duration of the program in New York City. Paid hourly compensation. The internship offers exposure to long-form non-fiction storytelling for major streamers and broadcast.
