Internship, Architecture, Design Studio (Fall 2026)

Tesla is hiring an Architecture Intern in the Design Studio for Fall 2026 in Austin, Texas. The role is full-time on-site for a minimum of 12 weeks (40 hours/week). The Tesla Design Studio creates the look and feel of Tesla products and physical environments. The Architecture Intern will support architects and designers on real projects, including studio space planning, fabrication studies, schematic design, model building, and 3D visualization for retail, factory, and product environments. Interns collaborate with industrial designers, UX designers, mechanical engineers, and program managers throughout the design process. Required qualifications include current enrollment in an accredited architecture program (B.Arch, M.Arch, or related); proficiency in Rhino, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D rendering tools; strong portfolio demonstrating spatial design ability; and ability to work full-time on-site for the duration of the internship.
