2027 Investment Banking Summer Analyst Program (United States)

Morgan Stanley's 2027 Investment Banking Summer Analyst Program targets undergraduates graduating December 2027 through June 2028 with a minimum 3.4 GPA and demonstrated finance interest. Summer Analysts undertake financial analysis work including corporate research, building valuation models, creating comparative financial exhibits, developing marketing materials, and participating in M&A transactions and financing execution. Locations: New York (primary), Houston, San Francisco, Menlo Park. Compensation: expected base pay of $52.89/hour at hire, plus potential bonuses and benefits. Candidates could select up to three preferred office locations and up to three Investment Banking Division (IBD) groups; some groups offered direct hiring while others participated in a generalist program with placement during onboarding.
