The Heritage Foundation's Young Leaders Program is hiring for Fall 2026 in Washington, D.C. (in-person required). Program runs September 8 – December 4, 2026 with over 50 positions available. Interns may work full-time (40 hours/week) or part-time (minimum 20 hours/week) with standard hours 9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The Young Leaders Program hires 50+ young conservatives each semester and is consistently rated one of the top policy internships in the nation. The internship includes the Boyce-Haller First Principles Lecture Series, weekly briefings with Heritage policy experts on foreign, economic, and domestic policy issues, Heritage events featuring prominent conservative leaders, practical skills workshops on professional development and networking, personalized resume and career consultation, and networking with other young conservatives. Pay: $18.50/hour. Eligibility: high school diploma minimum; preferably college junior or above (underclassmen welcome); recent graduates, master's, and law students encouraged; international students with U.S. work authorization eligible.
