Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control is hiring engineering interns to support the Special Operations Forces Global Logistics Support Services (SOF GLSS) program in Lexington, Kentucky for the Fall 2026 semester (August 24 – December 18, 2026). The internship is full-time at 40 hours/week with part-time remote telework available. Work involves modifications to helicopters, fixed-wing aircraft, ground vehicles, and underwater systems. Responsibilities include design, systems testing, aeronautics analysis, quality assurance, integration, and systems engineering tasks. Required qualifications: enrolled in an ABET-accredited STEM major (preference for Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering) and U.S. citizenship to obtain a Secret-level security clearance.
