Earthjustice, the nation's largest nonprofit environmental law organization, is recruiting law students for Fall 2026 externships and internships across multiple program teams, including Biodiversity Defense, Clean Energy, Community Partnerships, and several Regional Offices. Law student externs and interns conduct legal research, draft memoranda, support active environmental litigation, and assist staff attorneys with case development on cutting-edge environmental and public health issues. Legal externships are unpaid and require academic credit or fulfillment of a graduation/pro bono requirement; paid internship positions are also available with hourly compensation. Positions run from late August through late November 2026, with a minimum commitment of 15 hours per week. Open to currently enrolled law students. Application deadline is May 15, 2026 at 5:00pm PT via Jobvite.
