Intern, Political Campaigns (Fall 2026)

The SPLC Action Fund is hiring undergraduate interns for Fall 2026 to support political campaign work across the Southern Collective. Interns research candidates running for local office, attend virtual state endorsement committee meetings, develop data-driven endorsement recommendations, draft communications, and participate in weekly team meetings. The role aligns with SPLC's commitment to dismantling white supremacy and advancing civil rights through research, public education, outreach, litigation, and policy advocacy. Open to students currently enrolled in an accredited four-year college or university with a strong academic record, excellent research and writing skills, and a demonstrated passion for civil rights and social justice. Positions are based in Atlanta, Jackson, Miami, Montgomery, New Orleans, or Washington, DC. The internship runs August 3 to December 4, 2026 at $17.95/hour, minimum 15 hours/week for 18 weeks.
