Fall Semester REU in Oceanography and Marine Science at BIOS

NSF-funded Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) program at the Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences. U.S. undergraduates conduct independent oceanographic and marine science research projects under the mentorship of BIOS scientists from August 24 to November 13, 2026. Participants present their work, attend professional development workshops, and may join oceanographic research cruises aboard BIOS research vessels. The program covers round-trip airfare from the U.S., on-campus housing, meals, and a competitive stipend. Since 1991, BIOS has hosted over 250 REU students.
