Newsroom Internship Program – Summer 2026

The Washington Post's Newsroom Internship Program for Summer 2026 places undergraduate and graduate students in the newsroom for a 12-week paid program. Interns work alongside reporters, editors, photographers, designers and producers across desks including national, foreign, business, sports, features, audio and video. Interns produce stories and multimedia for publication, gaining hands-on training in fast-paced daily journalism, investigative reporting, and digital storytelling.
