Pathways Intern (Laborer/Pipefitter)

The U.S. Coast Guard Yard in Baltimore, MD is recruiting for a Pathways Internship Program Laborer (Pipefitter) position. Selectees will work alongside journey-level pipefitters performing maintenance, repair, and installation tasks on Coast Guard vessels and shore facilities. The Pathways Internship Program provides students enrolled in a wide variety of educational institutions, from high school to graduate level, with paid opportunities to work in agencies and explore federal careers while still in school. Upon successful completion of the program and at the agency's discretion, the appointee may be converted to a term or permanent position in the competitive service. Program duration is one year.
