About The Team
Kreischer Miller has a large and experienced tax department comprised of tax specialists with international firm and Fortune 500 company experience. Our Tax Strategies practice has been designed to service a broad range of clientele, from emerging small businesses to large multinational companies, as well as business owners and high-net-worth individuals. With nearly 300 team members located in Horsham, PA, we are currently seeking to add a Tax Processing Intern to our outstanding Tax Strategies team.
Tax Processing Interns provide support and excellent client service to the Tax Strategies team by organizing and scanning client information for preparation of tax returns, paying great attention to the accuracy and completeness of the scanned documents; assist with mailing tax returns and other deliverables to clients and taxation authorities, both in electronic and paper format; ensuring accurate documentation and document retention; assist with other administrative tasks or special projects as needed. NOTE: This position is a full in-office position, with flexible work hours to balance with school/class workload. It is an administrative role, but is a great opportunity to become familiar with public accounting and network internally with the KM team.
Position Responsibilities:
- Receiving, documenting, and processing/scanning client information (or other department information) received either electronically or in paper format.
- Review scanned documents for accuracy and completeness, and file accordingly
- Package paper deliverables and prepare for delivery ensuring correct documentation
- Save client information into the respective electronic binders
- Assist in the mailing of client returns
- Special projects, as needed

What we are seeking:
Working towards BS or MS in Accounting, resumes without GPA will not be considered. Please include anticipated graduation date. A transcript is also requested. If you have credits at more than one school, please obtain all school transcripts.
- Proficiency in the use of computers and software programs, including Microsoft Office Suite. Must be willing to learn software applications essential to the Tax Department
- Possess a positive attitude, good communication skills and willingness to learn

- Be a team player and motivated to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to prioritize workload, and communicate with all professionals on work expectations and processes.
