PITT OHIO, a $900 million, high service, highly profitable, transportation solutions provider offering SUPPLY CHAIN, GROUND, LTL and TRUCKLOAD services is seeking a Safety Summer Internship. This internship position is located at our corporate headquarters in the Strip District area of Pittsburgh, PA.
Responsibilities
• Review and update written OSHA programs• Assist with review of driver qualification files• Accident procedures including root cause analysis• Various other duties
Qualifications
• Minimum GPA of at least 3.0• Attention to detail is a must• Strong interest in the Safety field• Must be able to work well independently as well as part of a team• Must be competent and proficient in Microsoft Office Software products• Excellent written and verbal communication skills • English language to communicate effectively with internal and external customers• Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
