Position Summary

This is a year round student internship. The program requires students to work a minimum of 16 hours per week.

We are searching for a committed, deadline-driven Sales Intern to join our Global Sales team. In this role, you will work closely with the Global Sales Manager while also supporting the broader sales organization. You should be able to follow the team’s direction while also taking initiative and working independently on assigned projects.

To be successful as a Sales Intern, you should be eager to learn as much as possible about the company, demonstrate strong analytical thinking, and be able to identify additional opportunities within various datasets. Ideal candidates are highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, comfortable working with large amounts of data, and naturally curious about investigating market trends at a detailed level. Outstanding Sales Interns are problem solvers who understand the value of building lasting, professional relationships with key stakeholders.

Essential Responsibilities

 
  • Maintain and update Business Update files
  • Conduct Market Analysis & Reporting, including:
    • Inventory, Sales, Production, SAAR, and related metrics
  • Support program activities such as:
    • Initiating customer RFQ activities in the ITT system to start cost estimation
    • Setting up and coordinating interdepartmental meetings for program/project analysis
    • Performing cost analysis and supporting business case development
    • Assisting with quotation preparation
  • Support preparation of presentations for management

Position Requirements

 
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Sales, Business, Data Analysis, Finance/Accounting, or a related field. Sophomore or Junior standing preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required, including experience with functions, formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization tools.
  • Demonstrated interest in market research, data investigation, and analytical problem-solving.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be highly detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact professionally with cross-functional teams.

The salary offered to a candidate is based several factors such as candidate experience and qualifications, location, as well as market and business considerations.

Hourly Wage $20.00 - $25.00 based on class standing (this position is not eligible for company‑sponsored benefits)
