Early Careers - Program Management Intern
About the Role
Astera Labs is scaling rapidly, and our Early Career programs (Internship, Co-op, and New College Graduate programs) are growing with it. We are looking for an exceptionally organized, proactive, and resourceful Early Career Program Management Intern to support the design, execution, and optimization of our 2026–2027 early-career initiatives.
In this role, you will partner closely with our Early Career Programs Lead to help run a world-class, high-touch experience for interns and NCGs across multiple global locations. You’ll get hands-on exposure to event planning, program operations, data and analytics, branding/marketing, communications, and stakeholder management across engineering, HR, and executive teams.
This internship is ideal for someone who is excited by people-centric work, loves building structure and processes, and enjoys owning projects from concept to polished delivery.
What You’ll Do
Program Operations & Execution
- Support day-to-day operations of Intern, Co-op, and NCG programs across HQ
- Help manage 10+ events annually (professional, social, technical), including logistics, invites, RSVPs, catering, supplies, surveys, ordering swag, and onsite support.
- Assist with intern and NCG onboarding preparation (schedules and content)
Data & Analytics
- Support in data collection and analysis on program feedback.
- Help prepare executive-ready slides summarizing progress, trends, and recommendations.
Campus & Brand Support
- Own end-to-end the annual Campus Ambassador Program (returning interns on campus as brand ambassadors)
- Create eye-catching, on-brand collateral including newsletters, emails, flyers, social graphics
Candidate Experience
- Serve as a friendly, responsive point-of-contact for interns and managers.
- Track project plans and mid-point/final evaluations.
- Help run Friday Learning Sessions, fireside chats, and executive speaker events.
Events
- Support hackathons and technical challenges (Astera LaunchPad)
- End-to-end support on annual Intern Symposium event in August (August 7th 2026)
- Contribute ideas to enhance culture-building, community, and engagement
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, HR, Organizational Studies, Psychology, Marketing, or a related field
- Available for a full-time 12-week internship in summer 2026
Skills & Strengths
- Comfortable working in fast-moving environments with multiple priorities.
- Strong MS ppt, excel, and data collection and analysis in forms/excel
- A natural people-person who enjoys helping others and creating great experiences
- Creative eye for design, branding, or event planning is a plus
- Experience in student leadership, event planning, RA/Peer Mentor roles, or project coordination a plus
