Graduate Internship Program - Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office - Summer 2026

Overview

Thank you for your interest in the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office. Our 2026 Summer Graduate Internship program is approximately 11 weeks, beginning in June and ending in August. The exact dates have yet to be determined. Individuals interested in these positions must have completed their 1st year at the graduate level at an accredited college or university and be enrolled to further their pursuit of a graduate degree.

Responsibilities

Qualifications:

• Resume and Cover Letter must be uploaded within the posting window dates of 9/1/2025 to 12/31/2025.
• Must be enrolled as a graduate student attending an accredited college. (if selected for this position, the student must show proof of enrollment in a graduate studies program prior to commencing the internship.)
• Individuals who have completed their graduate studies are not eligible for participation in this program.
• Those individuals who are obtaining an advanced degree in criminal justice, homeland security, or other area of study that we interpret as related to law enforcement will be given preference.

Note:

• If is determined that an individual who has expressed an interest in the intern program lacked candor in his/her responses, resume, cover letter, application or interview, or supporting documentation, the individual will immediately be disqualified from the process.
• If the individual is offered the position, or was selected as an intern by this office, and it is later determined that he/she had falsified any document submitted in support of his/her candidacy for the position, or lacked candor in any phase of the screening process, he/she will be removed from the internship immediately and the reason for the removal noted in the personnel file of the individual in question.
• There are paid an unpaid internships available.  Paid internships are currently paying $15.92/hour.
• The slots are limited. Applications must be submitted by December 31, 2025, for Summer 2026.
