Software Engineer Intern, Summer 2026

Clio is the leading cloud-based practice management platform for lawyers, serving 150,000+ legal professionals. We are hiring Software Engineer Interns for our Summer 2026 cohort in Toronto, Vancouver, and Calgary. Interns work in cross-functional squads on Clio Manage, Clio Grow, and Clio Duo (our AI assistant). Our stack is Ruby on Rails, React + TypeScript, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, and AWS. Responsibilities: implement user-facing features, pair with senior engineers, write unit and integration tests, participate in on-call shadowing, and ship production code in your first two weeks. Qualifications: pursuing a BS/MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related program graduating Dec 2026 - Aug 2027; strong fundamentals in OOP and data structures; experience with Ruby, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Java. Clio is a remote-first Canadian company; interns may work from any Clio office or remotely within Canada for the duration of the program. The role is paid, includes relocation assistance, and wraps with an intern showcase.
