Ironclad is hiring Software Engineer Interns for Summer 2026 to join our contract lifecycle management platform engineering teams in San Francisco. Interns will ship production code to services that power the Ironclad Workflow Designer, Repository, and AI-enabled contract intelligence features used by in-house legal teams at companies like Mastercard, L'Oreal, and Asana. You will collaborate with staff engineers on TypeScript/Node backend services, a React + Redux frontend, and a PostgreSQL/ElasticSearch data tier. Responsibilities include implementing new API endpoints, improving clause-extraction latency, writing Jest unit tests and Cypress end-to-end tests, and presenting an end-of-summer capstone to engineering leadership. Qualifications: pursuing a BS/MS in Computer Science or related field graduating Dec 2026 - Jun 2027; strong fundamentals in data structures and algorithms; proficiency in at least one of TypeScript, Python, Java, or Go; familiarity with Git and Linux. Prior internship experience at a SaaS company or exposure to NLP is a plus but not required.
