Software Engineer Intern - Uber Freight, Summer 2026

Uber Freight is hiring Software Engineer Interns for Summer 2026 to build the digital freight platform that connects shippers with over 125,000 carriers. Interns join product teams across shipper marketplace, carrier mobile app, dispatch tools, and managed transportation analytics. You will ship production code in Go, Java, Python, or TypeScript/React, participate in design reviews, on-call shadowing, and end-of-summer demos. Sample projects: building self-serve shipment booking APIs, improving load-to-truck matching algorithms, or adding new carrier compliance checks. Qualifications: pursuing a BS or MS in Computer Science or related field graduating between Dec 2026 and Sep 2027; coursework in data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems; proficiency in at least one of Go, Java, Python, or TypeScript. H-1B and OPT sponsorship supported for full-time conversion.
