Zayo provides communications infrastructure services, including fiber and bandwidth connectivity, colocation, and other network services. The Network Engineering Intern will join our IP/MPLS backbone team in Denver supporting capacity planning, peering optimization, and automation. Projects include building a Python tool to analyze NetFlow data for peering decisions, updating NetBox records, and shadowing on-call engineers during maintenance windows. Qualifications: pursuing BS in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or Information Systems; coursework in routing/switching (OSPF, BGP); Python familiarity; willingness to learn about carrier-grade networks. 10-12 weeks, hybrid.
