VHB Summer 2026 Transportation Engineering Intern

VHB is hiring Summer 2026 Transportation Engineering Interns to support highway, transit, and traffic engineering projects across the East Coast. Interns will work with senior engineers on roadway geometric design using OpenRoads, traffic signal design, intersection capacity analysis in Synchro/VISSIM, and MassDOT/NYSDOT plan production. VHB's integrated planning-engineering model offers interns exposure to public involvement, environmental review (NEPA), and multimodal planning. Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering. Paid 10-week program with offices in Boston, Providence, New York, Tampa, and Washington DC.
