Accounting Internship - Spring 2026

Wipfli's Spring 2026 Accounting Internship (Rockford/Sterling, IL) provides busy-season immersion in Wipfli's tax and audit practice. Spring interns prepare individual, business, and fiduciary tax returns during peak filing; support compliance testing on audit and review engagements; research tax and accounting topics; and gain exposure to Wipfli's industry specializations including manufacturing, construction, healthcare, nonprofit, and financial institutions. The program typically runs January through mid-April, with full-time offers available for high-performing interns. Candidates should be pursuing a bachelor's or master's in accounting, have completed a corporate or individual taxation class, and be on track to sit for the CPA exam.
