OT Security Research Intern - Summer 2026

Claroty is hiring an OT Security Research Intern for Summer 2026 to join Team82, our award-winning research group. Team82 has disclosed vulnerabilities in Siemens, Rockwell Automation, Schneider Electric, and other ICS vendors. As an intern you will reverse engineer industrial control system protocols and firmware, develop proof-of-concept exploits in isolated lab environments, coordinate disclosure with vendors, and contribute to research publications. Qualifications: pursuing a BS/MS in Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science; proficiency in C/C++, Python, and IDA Pro or Ghidra; familiarity with embedded systems, firmware analysis, or industrial protocols (Modbus, DNP3, S7); prior CVE credits, CTF placements, or embedded security coursework strongly preferred.
