Software Engineer Intern - Summer 2026

Abnormal Security is hiring Software Engineer Interns for Summer 2026 to join our backend, platform, and product engineering teams. You will ship production code in Python and TypeScript supporting our cloud-native email security platform, which processes billions of messages for enterprise customers. Projects include building new API integrations with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, extending our abuse mailbox automation, improving real-time stream processing throughput, or developing new detection surfaces for account takeover. Qualifications: pursuing a BS/MS in Computer Science or related field graduating Dec 2026 - Aug 2027; proficiency in Python, Go, or TypeScript; coursework in distributed systems, databases, or web engineering. Abnormal interns are paid competitively with housing stipends and receive strong full-time conversion rates.
