Security Researcher Intern - Summer 2026

The Snyk Security team is hiring a Security Researcher Intern for Summer 2026. You will research vulnerabilities in open-source libraries, container images, and Infrastructure-as-Code templates; coordinate responsible disclosure with maintainers; and curate data that powers the Snyk Intel vulnerability database. Responsibilities include triaging incoming CVE reports, writing detection content, auditing popular npm/PyPI/Maven packages for malicious code, and contributing to the Snyk Security blog. Qualifications: pursuing a BS/MS in Cybersecurity or Computer Science; familiarity with multiple ecosystems (Node.js, Python, Java, Go); experience with static analysis tools, SAST, or dependency scanners; Python scripting proficiency; prior security research or open-source contribution experience preferred.
