BorgWarner's Auburn Hills Technical Center hosts Mechanical Engineering interns for Summer 2026 supporting the eProducts and Powertrain divisions. Interns assist in designing and validating electric drive modules, hybrid powertrain components, and battery systems through CAD modeling in Siemens NX, FEA analysis, and test-cell data collection. Projects include dyno testing new motor designs and supporting thermal management development for upcoming OEM programs. Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering with a minimum 3.0 GPA. The 12-week program ran June 1 to August 21, 2026.
