Summer 2026 Investment Internship

Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) is hiring Summer 2026 Investment Interns across its investment teams including Crypto, American Dynamism, Bio + Health, Consumer, Enterprise, Games, and Growth. The internship runs June 2 to August 21, 2026 with a minimum 10-week residency and maximum 12 weeks, based in Menlo Park or San Francisco. Interns work alongside a16z general partners and operating teams on investment sourcing, market research, technical diligence, and thesis development. Compensation is $4,000 per week plus a $500 per week housing stipend. Open to students with a strong research or technical background and demonstrated interest in venture capital or startups. For research-oriented roles such as Crypto Research, areas include cryptography, distributed computing, economics, quantitative finance, and mechanism design.
