2026 Summer Engineering Intern - Consumers Energy

CMS Energy's principal subsidiary Consumers Energy is hiring Summer 2026 Engineering Interns in Jackson, MI. Placements include electric distribution engineering, gas engineering, generation (including the Ludington Pumped Storage facility), and environmental engineering. Interns work on capital project design, reliability analyses, and clean energy transition initiatives supporting CMS's goal of net-zero by 2040. Candidates must be pursuing an ABET-accredited Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering. Minimum 3.0 GPA. 12-week paid program with housing stipend. US work authorization required without sponsorship.
