Southern California Edison's Grid Modernization team is hiring Summer 2026 Engineering Interns in Pomona, CA. Interns will support distribution automation projects, DER (distributed energy resource) interconnection studies, and wildfire mitigation technology deployment across SCE's 50,000 square mile service area. Work includes Python-based data analysis of SCADA telemetry, GIS mapping in ArcGIS, and field visits to substations. Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical, Computer, or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Paid 11-week program; SCE does not sponsor visas for interns.
