Hex is hiring a Summer 2026 Software Engineering Intern to work on the collaborative data workspace used by data teams at companies like Anthropic, Notion, and Reddit. The intern will contribute across our stack - TypeScript/React frontend for the notebook editor, Node/Go backend services, and our Python kernel integration. Recent intern projects include shipping a new chart type in Magic (our AI copilot), improving SQL autocomplete with semantic models, and building the Hex Slack integration. Hex is hybrid from SF; paid with relocation support. Candidates should be CS students with shipped projects and a strong interest in data tooling.
