Software Engineering Intern, Next.js

Vercel is hiring Summer 2026 Software Engineering Interns to contribute to Next.js, the React framework used by millions of developers and powering the largest sites on the web. Interns will work directly with the core Next.js team on projects like improving Turbopack performance, extending React Server Components integration, or shipping developer-experience wins in the Next.js CLI. Expect to submit PRs to the open-source repo, write RFCs, and own scoped features end-to-end. Strong candidates have meaningful open-source contributions in the JavaScript ecosystem and are fluent in TypeScript. This role is remote within North America.
