Machine Learning Engineering Intern - AI

Airtable's AI team is hiring a Summer 2026 ML Engineering Intern to build features that bring LLMs into the Airtable workspace. Projects include improving retrieval quality for AI-generated base content, building evaluation pipelines for prompt regressions, and optimizing inference latency for the Cobuilder agent. Interns will work with a tech lead and senior research engineers, own a scoped research project, and present findings at the company all-hands. We're looking for MS/PhD candidates with ML research experience, strong Python skills, and familiarity with modern LLM tooling (transformers, vector databases, eval frameworks).
