PPG 2026 Summer Intern - Coatings Chemistry

PPG Industries is hiring a Coatings Chemistry Intern for Summer 2026 at the Allison Park Coatings Innovation Center outside Pittsburgh PA. The intern will formulate and test automotive and industrial coatings, run accelerated weathering and corrosion protocols, and support new product introductions alongside senior chemists. Candidates must be pursuing a BS or MS in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Science. Strong wet-lab skills and familiarity with FTIR/UV-Vis preferred. 12-week paid internship with housing stipend and relocation. US work authorization required. Applications closed January 2026.
