Software Engineer Intern, Summer 2026

Gem is hiring Software Engineer Interns for Summer 2026 in San Francisco. Gem is the all-in-one recruiting platform used by talent teams at companies like Cisco, Doordash, and Robinhood. As an intern you'll work in TypeScript, React, Node.js, and PostgreSQL on features spanning sourcing, CRM, analytics, and AI-assisted outreach. You'll ship real code, pair with senior engineers, and present a capstone to engineering leadership. The 12-week paid program is hybrid with 3 in-office days per week in SF. Qualifications: pursuing BS/MS in CS or related; strong fundamentals; experience with modern web development; familiarity with TypeScript or React preferred; high ownership mindset.
