Product Design Intern, Summer 2026

Gusto is seeking a Product Design Intern for Summer 2026. Partner with PMs, researchers, and engineers to design delightful payroll, HR, and benefits experiences for small business owners and their employees. Projects may span onboarding flows, benefits enrollment, payroll approvals, or the Gusto mobile app. You'll conduct user research, sketch and prototype in Figma, contribute to the Workbench design system, and present design reviews to the broader team. Qualifications: pursuing a degree in HCI, Interaction Design, Industrial Design, or equivalent self-taught background; portfolio showing design thinking and craft; familiarity with Figma. 12-week paid internship with mentorship from a staff-level product designer.
