Morningstar is hiring Software Engineering Interns for Summer 2026 in Chicago. Interns contribute to the Morningstar Direct, Advisor Workstation, and investment data platforms, working on full-stack web development, API design, and data pipeline engineering. Projects use Java, Python, React, and AWS. Mentorship, tech talks, and a capstone presentation are included. We seek rising juniors and seniors pursuing Computer Science or related degrees with strong coding fundamentals. The program is hybrid with three days onsite in our Chicago headquarters.
