Notre Dame Athletics Student Intern - Athletic Communications

The University of Notre Dame Department of Athletics is hiring an Athletic Communications Intern to support sports information activities across Notre Dame's 26 varsity programs for the 2026-27 academic year. The intern supports game-day operations (stats crew, press box, post-game interview coordination), drafts game recaps and feature stories for und.com, maintains student-athlete biographies and records, and supports content distribution across the department's digital platforms. The ideal candidate is a recent graduate with a degree in journalism, communications, or a related field, excellent writing skills, and a demonstrated ability to work nights and weekends during competition seasons. The one-year internship starts in August 2026 at an annual stipend of $30,000 plus housing assistance in South Bend, IN.
