LAFC 2026 Soccer Analytics Intern

LAFC is hiring a Soccer Analytics Intern to join the Sporting Department at BMO Stadium for the 2026 MLS season. The intern will partner with performance analysts, scouts, and the technical staff on projects ranging from opposition analysis, recruitment shortlisting, and in-match tactical reports, to internal model development using event and tracking data from providers such as StatsBomb, Skillcorner, and Second Spectrum. Candidates should be enrolled in or recent graduates of a bachelor's or master's program with strong proficiency in Python or R, familiarity with soccer analytics, and demonstrated independent project work (e.g., public blog posts, conferences). This role runs from May through October 2026 at $20 per hour, is onsite in Los Angeles, and requires availability on match days.
