2026 Summer Internship - Mt Pleasant, PA

Hitachi Energy USA, the Japanese-headquartered power-grid technology business, is hiring 2026 Summer Interns in Mt Pleasant, Pennsylvania. This 12-week summer internship takes place in the factory location and exposes interns to manufacturing of high-voltage transformers and switchgear. Roles may include Engineering, HSE, Supply Chain, Continuous Improvement, and HR. You will work on a defined project such as line-balancing studies, root-cause investigations, supplier qualification, or lean-manufacturing kaizens. Qualifications: pursuing a Bachelor's in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or Supply Chain Management; cumulative 3.0 GPA; ability to work onsite at the factory; solid Microsoft Office skills.
