Global Markets Summer Internship 2026

HSBC is hiring Summer Markets Analysts for its 2026 Global Markets program in New York. Over 10 weeks starting June 2026, you will rotate across HSBC's Markets and Securities Services (MSS) division spanning Sales, Trading, and Structuring in rates, FX, credit, equities, and securitized products. Analysts will sit on active desks, observe client calls and trade executions, build market-color notes, and complete a capstone project. Qualifications: penultimate-year undergraduate; pursuing Bachelor's in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Engineering; strong quantitative skills including statistics and probability; coding in Python, R, or VBA is a plus; demonstrated interest in markets. HSBC offers fixed compensation around $48/hour plus a $2,000 housing stipend.
